Front Rush, a technology company providing recruiting software for over 850 US colleges and approximately 9,500 teams, confirmed that they suffered a data breach exposing roughly 700,000 student athletes’ files. Compromised data includes personal addresses, dates of birth, driver’s licenses, physical evaluations, performance reports, financial aid agreements, and SAT scores. Though Front Rush did not immediately respond to the security researcher's notification, they disclosed that the server exposing the Amazon Web Services (AWS) bucket has been closed. Furthermore, the company stated that extensive policies have been put in place to protect user data.
