We partner with the Department of State’s Division of Elections to support the security of our election systems in New Jersey. We also collaborate with federal, state, and local authorities, as well as other third parties, on securing New Jersey’s voter registration and election systems. We provide direct support to the election officials in all 21 counties in New Jersey in reviewing their processes and procedures, and information technology systems that support elections. We perform assessments of the physical and cybersecurity status of the county election offices and assist with the development of their continuity of operations plans.
In addition to partnering with the New Jersey Department of State’s Division of Elections, we also coordinate with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, the New Jersey State Police (NJSP), the New Jersey Office of Information Technology, the New Jersey National Guard, county and municipal government partners. We also work with our federal partners at the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Overall, we have implemented rigorous physical, administrative, and technical controls. We are confident that our approach, which accounts for many threats and hazards and provides protections necessary to ensure the integrity of the election process in New Jersey.
