Summary

Pitney Bowes, the global shipping and mailing services company, experienced a ransomware attack that encrypted data on systems and disrupted customer access to services. Pitney Bowes is working to restore affected systems impacted by the Ryuk ransomware. Customers were unable to refill postage or upload transactions on their mailing equipment or retrieve accounting reports. At the time of this writing, there is no evidence that customer accounts or data was accessed or that there are other client risks. Pitney Bowes will continue to provide updates and information as they become available.
