Summary

Security researcher Brian Krebs reported that a website misconfiguration at TCM Bank exposed the names, addresses, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers of thousands of people who applied for payment cards between March 2017 and July 2018. TCM said the exposed information was taken from a third-party managed website used by customers to apply for payment cards. 

Recommendations

The NJCCIC recommends affected customers monitor their credit profiles and report any suspicious activity.
